We walk on this earth

The flesh and the blood

And bones become ash

Of the millions of eons 

Each one a billion years

On a wing and a prayer

What are the odds

A zillion to one?

That we’d be united 

With a few years to share

Every second with you 

A pure diamond of joy

An eternity’s star

That forever shines bright

So cherish the time

For time is the gift

Bestowed by the Gods
