Alone time

Moments pass and moments go

A million make a lifetime

But some are sweeter than the rest

When hearts are intertwined

Busy is as busy does 

Early mornings, hasty goodbyes

I love you’s and “Have a good day”

Work and sleep, the time just files

And when it seems to much to take

Suddenly there’s a slowing down

A chance to breath and decompress

A sweet day off, no one around

Nothing could be more sublime

Than when I’m yours, completely supine

Totally and unconditionally resigned 

It’s here at last, our Alone Time
