Under the covers it’s nice just knowing 

While the thunder’s clapping and the wind is blowing

We’re safe and sound both of us snoring

‘Cause it’s no fun when you sleep soloing 

No baby’s cry to start the monitor warning 

The damn beside clock won’t be alarming

With the sound of the rain sweet dreams start forming 

As the storm gives way to a steady pouring

Waking up slow with a stretch and a yawning

To the soft grey light as the day starts dawning

And the sound of the Keurig with a gurgle warming
