Letting Go
Letting Go
I finally found a love
One I adjusted to
But almost missed the signs
That let our love ensue
Precariously close we came
As so many lovers do
To going up in flames
Before the game was through
For I was fitted long ago
Tailored traits were sewn
A personality patterned
A single set of clothes
But sensuous scissors in skillful hands
Cut and measured my soul
Fitted and stitched my heart until
My new wardrobe did unfold
Hemmed to all your wants
Seamed to your desires
Captured by the fabric
Of my new attire
Comfortable and encapsulated
Basking in the glow.
Unencumbered....finding love
By simply Letting Go
