Periwinkle Eyes
Periwinkle Eyes
There’s grace in how she meets the dawn,
Perfection brushed but never drawn.
A taller frame, a poised command,
A gentle heart, a steady hand.
Her grooming neat, her humor dry,
But a flicker hides behind her eye.
She knows her worth but doesn’t boast,
She loves her kin and guards them most.
A whisper soft, a truth that stays,
She moves through life in measured ways.
Yet a passion’s fire still hides behind
Her soft and sweet periwinkle eyes
