Baby Cakes
Baby cakes
She surely is the sweetest
Girl I’ve ever known
With silky smooth sugary skin
And cute little cinnamon toes
Can’t resist those candy lips
And beautiful blueberry eyes
Between citrus cherub cheeks made up
Of peach and pudding pie
Her tongue is on the tart side
Like a lazy lemon drop
Tucked beneath a nose that’s nice
As a single sugar pop
A naughty nibble on her ears
Leaves a warm and buttery taste
A melody melting in your mouth
As soft as a wedding cake
The Neapolitan nape of her nimble neck
Is sweeter than whipped cream
Poised above her angel food bosom
That truly is a young man’s dream
Her tangerine tummy
Surrounds a nectarine navel
And those swaying swirling cherry plumb hips!
They rock just like a cradle
Long legs as limber as licorice sticks
Both succulent and slim
Propped on top of dainty ankles
A pair of luscious limbs
You might say that she’s enticing
From her head down to her feet
Simply put she’s quite the dish
A tempting tasty treat
She’s satisfies my sweet tooth
So finger licking good
I could have her every meal
And again for my dessert
Yes! She is the sweetest
The best for heavens sake
Every bite’s just like a Mardis Gras
She’s my delicious “Baby Cakes”

The name Baby Cakes comes from a traditional delicacy called a king cake, which is essentially a sugary bread with purple, green, and yellow icing. ... King cakes, which have come to be associated with Mardi Gras, traditionally have baked into them a small plastic baby, which to many represents baby Jesus.
