How do I convey?

The sheer anticipation 

To know it’s on the way 

Friday usually goes by fast 

For Thursday’s glow has not quite past

Though the sweetness lingers for a while 

It’s only so long the feelings last 

Saturday and Sunday.. how they drag on 

It seems forever until they’re gone

Leaving Monday to crawl by

Waiting for the Tuesday’s dawn

The day before is finally here

Just 24 hours.. it’s oh so near

Wednesday’s spent with fingers crossed

There’s no appointments to interfere

The morning arrives with no alarms 

Waking in each other’s arms 

Soon you know that I’ll submit

When you apply your womanly charms 

The spectacles off and put away

A six word cheer  I silently say
